Waheed is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS), reflecting advanced technical knowledge, professionalism, and a continued commitment to the highest standards within financial planning. He also holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, providing a strong academic foundation to complement his professional expertise.

Since beginning his career in financial services in 2008, Waheed has developed broad experience across financial advice, pensions, investments, protection, estate planning, and later-life planning. Alongside his client-facing work, he has also gained valuable insight into regulatory, risk management, and governance frameworks, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the financial advice process.

Waheed joined BBT Group Ltd in 2019 and works with clients who want clear, structured advice around building, protecting, and passing on wealth. This includes supporting individuals and families with retirement planning, inheritance tax planning, investment strategy, and long-term financial security.

His approach is centred on clarity, confidence, and long-term planning. Waheed takes time to understand each client’s personal circumstances, family priorities, values, and future ambitions, before creating a financial plan designed to support the life they want to build.

He is particularly passionate about helping clients make sense of complex financial decisions, giving them reassurance that their arrangements are organised, purposeful, and aligned with their wider goals.

Outside of work, Waheed is involved in charitable work supporting homeless people across Yorkshire.
