Akbar has been working in the financial service industry since 2007, beginning his career with a number of years within high street banks before transitioning into the role of Independent Financial Planner. Akbar prides himself on providing the highest level of service to his clients. He believes every client is unique and so his approach is personal; his aim is to get know each individual and what is important to them, and to develop long-lasting relationships.

Akbar is married to his wife, a primary school teacher, and has three children. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering and fundraising for a local charity, and playing a variety of sports.
