Waheed is both a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and a Chartered Financial Planner; recognition awarded to only those with the highest level of technical knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to ongoing development within the financial planning profession.

Waheed began his career in Financial Services in 2008 and having gained a strong foundation in both client-facing financial advice and the regulatory, risk management and governance frameworks, he joined BBT Group Ltd in 2019. He is passionate about helping clients build financial confidence and clarity which he achieves by focusing on creating structured, long-term financial plans that align money decisions with clients’ wider lifestyle goals, values, and family priorities.

Outside of work, Waheed is actively involved in charitable initiatives supporting the homeless across the Yorkshire area.
