Bob originally studied economics at Loughborough University and PGCE at the University of Bedfordshire and has been involved in financial services since 1992 when he joined the Industrial Bank of Japan as an intern to the Eurobond trading floor. After finishing his degree, Bob moved to Credit Suisse First Boston’s risk management team in Canary Wharf, and since then he has gained a wealth of experience from a varied career. This has spanned business ownership, professional sport (ocean racing), classroom teaching and school senior leadership in both the maintained and independent sectors, before finally joining BBT Group’s Financial Planning team in 2022.

In his spare time Bob is a keen sportsman and enjoys yacht racing, back-country skiing and supports Spurs and Gloucester Rugby. He’s also a fly-fisherman and active in river protection and habitat restoration.
